At Silver Springs we give all of our animals love and respect. We have a small herd of Jersey cows and Lamancha goats that feed on our pastures most of the year. We grow our own feed without chemicals or inorganic fertilizers and we never spray our pastures either.
We grow our own special blend of grasses so that the resulting cream is sweeter than your everyday milk. Everything is grown naturally with organic fertilizers such as compost. No hormones are used on the animals.
We are certified salmon safe, a member of the PNW cheese project, and a member of Sustainable Connections in Whatcom county. Respecting the land is a priority and we intend to have produce available at the farm in the spring.
There is a store at the farm and you are welcome to visit during our open hours (on the home page). Tours are available by appointment.
